Ways to serve

Free Choice Market
Help guests shop for groceries, keep shelves stocked and organized, and prepare the market for the next shift.

Baby Closet
Sort donated clothing, organize sizes, and keep the Baby Closet clean. Or be a mentor and help families find items for their little ones.

Stocking & Sorting
Sort food donations, check dates and packaging, and stock our food pantry, the Free Choice Market.

Events
Help with setup, welcoming guests, activities, and cleanup at community events and seasonal outreaches.

Facilities
Help keep our buildings and grounds clean, welcoming, and ready to serve. Tasks involving tools or equipment require additional instruction and staff approval.

Administrative
Help with a variety of office and administrative tasks here at Center of Hope or from home.

Other Opportunities
Use your skills to support other staff-approved projects and assignments.

How to get started

  • Complete the application below.
  • Someone will contact you, usually within a few days.
  • Have a short conversation about opportunities and next steps.
  • Come in and see the Center and have a short interview.
  • If Center of Hope sounds like a fit for you, we'll arrange an orientation and training.

There are many things your group can do to help Center of Hope that aren't on our property.


  • Host a restaurant fundraiser ( i.e. Culvers, Texas Roadhouse)
  • Have a Bake Sale
  • Host a food drive
  • Have a penny drive
  • Come up with your own fundraising idea!

 KIDS

Instilling a heart for service starts young. While on-site volunteer opportunities at Center of Hope are limited for minors, there are still plenty of meaningful ways individual kids or groups can make a difference in their community.
